I caught the Mellotones anniversary show at the Paragon Theatre in Halifax last night … these guys have a lot of soul and sure know how to rock.

I love running. It’s been the other passion of mine …two years ago I caught the bug and finished 4 marathons within a year, all of which were truly incredible experiences. I’ve also been coaching a marathon program … unfortunately due to an injury, this year’s training season was cut short for me and I ended up having knee surgery for a torn meniscus. I’m really looking forward to running again, especially through the streets of Halifax. I’ve even signed up for Halifax’s Bluenose Marathon this spring … but I’ll have to wait and see what the doctor has to say about everything. Since I’ve been out and riding the sidelines, I thought it would be a great opportunity to capture some of our runners “in training”. Surprisingly, most of them didn’t seem to mind having a photo taken at 6:30 in the morning.
