Date Night

Dai works offshore for a few weeks at a time and life is very busy with their children, so Dai and Niki always make time for a date night when he is home. Last week on a very spring-like Halifax day, they decided to check out a Halifax hot spot for dinner. I tagged along with them in the early evening and we took advantage of the amazing weather to get some fun shots of just the two of them around the city.

What a wonderful Christmas gift … Sam and her sister wanted to give their mom a family session for the holidays as they didn’t have many great photos of her and her partner. Michael and Gwen are a fun & hip couple and they had a blast in front of the camera … this is a family who loves life & living it together.

Kevin and Tara laugh … a lot. In fact, I don’t think that I’ve ever seen Tara without a smile on her face. It’s certainly infectious to be around. These pictures embody everything that I love about photographing couples and getting to freeze moments in time that they can look back on and remember forever. They are absolutely perfect for each other and you can’t help but notice how much love these guys have for each other. I’m certainly expecting a phone call when they finally decide to get married – and I sure hope they consider Halifax.
